OUR TWO BOOK CLUBS!
- Our evening (LOL) Book Club will meet on Thursday, May 9th, at 4 pm, in the parlor. Our next book will be “The Cafe on the Edge of the World”, by John Strelecky.
- Our daytime (HB) Book Club will meet on Friday, June 7th, at noon, in the parlor; you’re welcome to bring a lunch or snack. We’ll read The Women, by Kristin Hannah.
MAY SPECIAL COFFEE HOURS
Please join us on Sunday, May 12th, for a special Mother’s Day Coffee Hour, with a cake and treat for all the ladies.
- On Sunday, May 26th, we are asking members to bring in special red, white and blue treats, for a special Memorial Day Coffee Hour. Wear your red, white and blue and help us honor our military heroes.
PRUDENCE CRANDALL MEAL MAKING
We will NOT meet on Thursday, May 16th.
We will meet on the THIRD Thursday of next month, June 20th, and make a meal at the church that is then delivered to the women and children who are staying at the Prudence Crandall shelter or safehouse. To accommodate all who would like to participate, we meet from 10 to noon for meal preparations and then again at 5 pm to finish cooking the meal. Once the meal is completed and packed for delivery, we gather for a meal and fellowship. The next date is June 20th. Please see Judy if you have any questions.
HOSTS NEEDED . . .
Thank you to all who have been stepping up to help with Coffee Hour. Wayne will be having knee surgery, so we will need volunteers and will have the cart set up for Sunday with a “to do” sheet on it. We will make coffee, so the host just needs to wheel the cart out and set things up.

You will find activities in the corner of the Fireside Room, like puzzles, games and blankets to be tied. Please feel free to stay for a few minutes and enjoy them.
